Pin the offer
The selected Chewy item is Virbac Epi-Otic Advanced Ear Cleaner for Dogs and Cats,8-fl-oz bottle, item 52808. The readable US page displayed a buy-once price of$21.99 and an in-stock indication. It separately showed a 4-fl-oz option at$13.59 and different first/subsequent Autoship prices. None of those alternative conditions is substituted into our selected buy-once record.
Read the manufacturer scope
Virbac's US pet-owner page describes routine ear cleansing for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. That is manufacturer category wording, not personal veterinary approval. It does not mean every animal with ear discomfort should be cleaned before assessment. The exact current bottle label and the veterinarian's directions remain relevant when an individual animal has a condition or is receiving other ear preparations.
Ingredients are not a personal suitability test
The US professional page supplies a named ingredient list, including fragrance and FD&C Blue 1,with a may-contain-lactic-acid qualifier. Our source record preserves the complete list and its wording rather than calculating concentrations from ingredient order. A broad gentle or non-irritating marketing statement is not a guarantee that a particular animal cannot react.
Keep conflicting copy separate
The current professional page describes neutral pH 7 while the retailer uses low-pH wording. We do not average these descriptions or infer a universal compatibility result with medicines. A linked manufacturer detailer has older publication material and is not treated as the complete current physical label. Exact formulation/version and received warnings remain pending.
Purchase decision
Choose 8 fl oz and buy once if that is the intended offer, then recheck the price and package. Our cost tool can divide 21.99 by 8 for a fluid-volume rate but cannot estimate drops, applications or days. It does not tell you how much to put in an ear,how often to use it or which other product to combine with it.
